Resolut1on has spoken out about a problem in Dota 2 matchmaking.

After a short break from Dota 2 matchmaking, Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok has revealed that the introduction of double rating tokens in Dota 2 has devalued his MMR by around 2,000 points, making it much harder to play.

The pro-player expressed this opinion during a private Twitch broadcast.

“Yeah I'm surprised. When I took a break, started playing, I realized that MMR by two thousand just increased. MMR inflation. It's not easy to upgrade them.

But in Europe it's a lot easier than in Asia, because here there's some communication with people, interaction, because in Asia it's horrible, just playing alone. They're also super toxic, they just want to do some mental damage to you, it's like that's their goal in the game.”

After the introduction of double rating tokens in Dota 2, many members of the gaming community began criticizing Valve for adding this mechanic. According to the statement of many pro-gamers, this innovation created a lot of ways to tilt the rating, because of which the quality of games in matchmaking has dropped a lot.

Recall that earlier Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok named the best heroes to play in the third position after the release of patch 7.37.
