Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok has resumed playing Dota 2 and plans to return to the pro scene in the near future.
This statement was made by the former esports athlete in a post on his personal Telegram channel.
"I've been playing Dota for a week now, and I want to say that I haven't enjoyed the game this much in a long time. I decided to delve deeper into the game again and switch roles once more. This time, I want to develop as a captain and play the position four or five support roles. As part of my immediate plans, I aim to reach a high level of understanding these roles, start streaming regularly after setting up my PC in the villa, and keep an eye on teams and players with whom I'd find it interesting to break into the pro scene."
Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok secured second place at The International 2022 with
Team Secret. Later, he played for
Old G and
BetBoom Team on loan for some time before deciding to take a break from Dota 2 and put his career on hold. Resolut1on attended TI 2023 as an analyst. His esports career brought Roman over two million dollars.

Recall that earlier, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk named the winner of the 1v1 tournament at BetBoom Dacha 2024 and admitted to being afraid to play against him.
