The possible release date of the new patch for Dota 2 has became known

The new Dota 2 patch may be released on March 5–6, since this is when the winter season of Dota Plus and the Quartero's Curios is ending.

It is quite possible that together with the update a letter patch 7.40d may appear in the game, players are not expecting any major changes soon so it is unlikely that there will be a big numbered patch.

It is assumed that along with the update the spring season of Dota Plus will start, new Quartero's Curios will begin, and a new treasure with skins selected by the Dota 2 community may also appear in the game.

It is worth noting that earlier players expected an event related to the Chinese New Year, and a unique Throne revival mode would appear, but this did not happened.
