Roman «RAMZES666» Kushnarev believes that Valve should be more involved in the Dota 2 pro-scene and bring back the DPC to increase interest in the game.
The pro-player shared his vision during a Twitch stream.
«Well, I would make less tournaments. And tournaments should be more qualitative. Maybe increase the prize pool, maybe raise hype around them. Maybe make a tournament where teams play on the arena from day one. I want there to be more tournaments that actually matter»
RAMZES666 noted that the number of tournaments should be reduced and their quality improved. According to him, most games now just dont really matter, which leads to less interest in Dota 2. The pro-player suggests Valve to change its decision and bring back DPC, which would positively affect the pro-scene.
«It happened that Valve already doesnt influence anything. It would be good if they contributed. For example, everyone wasnt happy with the DPC season, but even bringing back DPC now would make Dota ecosystem better»
The pro thinks Valve should again influence the Dota 2 pro-scene, and they could bring back DPC for that. According to him, it would positively affect tournament quality, and matches would become interesting again, both for viewers and players.
Recall, that earlier Martin «Saksa» Sazdov asked Valve to change the Dota 2 map, due to advantage for Dire side players.
