Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev said that despite his friendly relationship with Alexey “Solo” Berezin, they regularly clashed while playing for
Virtus.pro due to their desire to win.
The player spoke about this on Twitch.
“Leha and I used to argue a lot in the
Virtus.pro team. It was because we just wanted to win at Dota. I think that's normal. We weren't super good friends outside of Dota.”
According to Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, he and Alexey “Solo” Berezin periodically switched responsibilities within the team, taking turns being in charge of drafts, because at any given moment, one of the players was more skilled than the other.
“That's why we always switched during the draft. Sometimes Leha drafted, sometimes I did. At some point, I started to understand Dota better, at some point, he did. And that's how it was for us — back and forth. I think that's why we played together for so long.”
The esports player considers such situations in the team to be normal if the teammates maintain friendly relations outside of the game.
Earlier, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev explained why it would be difficult for him to return to professional Dota 2, as it would be for most of his former teammates.
