Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev stated that the issues for
9 Pandas began after the changes in the drafting system before TI12.
This statement was made by the carry player and founder of L1ga Team during a live broadcast of the closed qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai on Twitch.
"The first half of the year was good, then we started to decline. By TI12, we were already out of shape, so to speak. Until the end of the Riyadh Masters, the meta suited us, and we were picking well, playing well — everything was working. Then the drafting system changed, and we didn't perform well. I'm not saying that the drafting system drastically changed something; it just didn't click for us from that moment."
RAMZES666 also mentioned that by the end of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023, the team's problems were evident, and he was already aware of his imminent departure. Since the contract was signed until the end of the year, Roman began contemplating forming his own roster. The founder of L1ga Team added that parting ways with
9 Pandas went smoothly, and the decision for his departure was mutual.
Recall that earlier, Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Hertek shared ambitious plans for the upcoming TI and revealed when he plans to return to the midlane position.
