Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev and Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko believe that the prize pool for The International 2025 is unlikely to exceed $3 million, and may even be less.
The eSportsmen shared their predictions during a stream on Twitch.
RAMZES666: Listen, at least it will be 3 million, right?
No[o]ne: And when did they release the Compendium last year? Two weeks before the tournament?
RAMZES666: Like a month or something like that.
No[o]ne: It seems to me that they will release it in a week, and it will accumulate 2 million, and that's it.
RAMZES666: 2.5 million is not serious at all, and with taxes.
No[o]ne believes that due to the late release of the Compendium, the prize pool of the Dota 2 World Championship will be one of the most modest in history, approximately $2 million.
RAMZES666 estimates the possible amount at about $2.5 million, but emphasizes that players will receive even less - taking into account taxes, which can reach 30%.
Recall that earlier Valve finally shared news about The International 2025, but fans expected something completely different.
