Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev, an offlaner for
Tundra Esports team criticized Valve and The International 2024 for not having a Battle Pass and a meager prize pool.
The e-sportsman expressed his reservations in his post on Telegram channel.
“We reached bootcamp, getting ready to TI. No ***** BPs, no *****, no prize pool – none of that. Well, yeah…Valve is doing everything right. Are we waiting for prize money like at the third International or what? This is ****”
RAMZES666 clarified that his team has already arrived there and he still doesn’t know any details about organization or prize pool of TI13. He also suggested that perhaps teams would battle for the same amount as TI3 ($1.6 million). A player could not hold back emotions and expressed discontent over the present situation.

It’s worth noting that Andrey "Afoninje" Afonin once said that Dota 2’s The International 2024 could very much turn out to be one of the worst in history
