Roman ”RAMZES666” Kushnarev elucidated that while farming in patch 7.38, one highly recommended strategy is to farm the enemy Ancients while controlling their own triangle to increase the chances of raising their MMR.

The esports competitor gave this advice on a Twitch stream.

“I believe it is imperative to start working on farming right away. My approach involves using the portal to harvest the enemy Ancients. It is crucial that you are sailing constantly. For this, you will need MP items to help you to keep using the portal. You will also need vision there because, as a carry, you are farming two Ancient camps simultaneously. A lot of playing needs to be done in order to truly understand it. It is as though you are not the only map carry. Nobody denies that. A few players just go to harvest their own triangle"

RAMZES666 made it clear that a fair number of people make the blunder of sprinting to harvest from their jungle, which makes them easy prey. He noted that this stance is problematic because it puts the other team in an easy position to be able to spring a trap and kill them.

"I think it's more effective for the carry is to play their triangle rather than contest their jungle. When you fight for your jungle, you're quite exposed and easy to kill at Ancients. You should be controlling your triangle and the enemy Ancients instead. That is how you should be farming"
