Quinn "Quinn" Callahan stated that the primary reason for
Nigma Galaxy's failures lies in the lack of effective communication among team members.
This statement was made by the
Gaimin Gladiators midlaner during the ALL CHAT podcast on Cap Casts' YouTube channel.
"Dota 2 has undergone significant changes. In the era when KuroKy and Puppey dominated, core players weren't expected to be vocal. It was the norm for cores to remain silent while supports took the lead. Perhaps, on rare occasions, a carry would say something, and that was considered their contribution to the game. However, Dota 2 is no longer the same. Playing with Yatoro, for example, involves constant communication. Dyrachyo follows suit. In Liquid, there's 33 and miCKe. Today, it's challenging to achieve success as a team if each player doesn't contribute to communication."
Nigma Galaxy faced setbacks in all January qualifiers for top championships. At ESL One Birmingham 2024, the team exited the lower bracket final after losing to
PSG Quest, who also eliminated them from the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 semifinals. In the DreamLeague Season 22 qualifiers, the team was eliminated after losing in the lower bracket semifinals to
Winter Bear.
