Quinn Callahan doubts that he will become a Dota 2 coach in the future, as he is more inclined to play on a team if he feels like spending a lot of time on his carer again.
The player stated this in an interview on YouTube.
“I've thought about it in the sense of ‘it's possible,’ but I don't think I will. It's just not something that interests me particularly. If I were going to spend that much time on tournaments and competitions again, I'd rather play myself — and, to be honest, I'd earn more.”
Acording to Quinn Callahan, if an esports player has the opportunity to continue playing, he won't think twice about taking on the role of coach. The player believes that he will not become the official coach of the Dota 2 team, as he is not interested in such activities, but he does not rule out the possibility of becoming a personal mentor to someone in the future.
‘And then, I think, if you can play, you usually just play. If you can play, you don't become a coach. Maybe I'll try it on a more personal level, but being the official coach of a team — I don't think so.’
We would like to remind you that Quinn Callahan also shared what he regrets most about his career as a professional player.
