Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, a
Gaimin Gladiators midlaner, considers
Tundra Esports his nemesis due to a series of defeats from them at the beginning of the season and is glad that he was finally able to beat them.
The cyber athlete revealed this during his post-match interview at PGL Wallachia Season 5.
"How does it feel? Good. Tundra Esports has been our nemesis this year. I think we had a bad matchup against them, they've slapped us a thousand times already. It's good that we finally swatted them back"
The pro player couldn't contain his emotions after the win. The fact is that
Tundra Esports had beaten the
Gaimin Gladiators eight straight times. However, at PGL Wallachia Season 5, the squad was able to show a high level of preparation and finally break the losing streak. Quinn also admitted that he now believes that the GGs have surpassed their enemy in terms of draft picks - because previously it was
Tundra Esports who effectively countered their heroes.
Recall that earlier Quinn called
Tundra Esports “garbage” after defeating them at the tournament.
