Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko stated that the players of the former
Tundra Esports Dota 2 roster did not immediately realize they were facing a serious losing streak.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
“I wouldn’t say we were exactly in shock, but we didn’t realize we’d failed so badly. After we lost at 1win Essence and DreamLeague 29, we certainly started to think about it. We’d suspected something was wrong even before that, but it was still manageable. When we were eliminated from DreamLeague by Aurora, that’s when things got really bad.”
According to Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko, following the disappointing results at 1win Essence and DreamLeague 29, the team began to reflect on their situation, and the most telling moment was the loss to
Aurora at DreamLeague 29.
It’s worth noting that
Tundra Esports finished in the top 10 at BLAST SLAM VII, and that tournament marked the end of the esports organization.
As a reminder, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko previously commented on the transfer of
Tundra Esports players to
1win Team.
