Ivan Moskalenko, also known as “Pure”, who plays for the
BetBoom Team, feels that any player wishing to go professional in Dota should be in the top 15 or top 50 in the ranking. He elaborated that teams might start taking an interest in a player in such circumstances.
An esports athlete shared the information in a post match interview which was later shared by them on Youtube.
"I can't advise you on how to improve your rating in Dota 2 as it is not that worth it. If you are just starting out, then yes you need to find a way into tbe top 50 or 15 of the ranking, then it is possible that teams will take notice of you"
Pure tried to clarify his stance on the issue by stating that team rating is not important for professional gamers but for amateurs who want to transition to a better team. He further stressed that he believes there is no strategy in boosting your rating and it is not an integral part of the game for him.
Previously, Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev stated that
Tundra Esports never paid him for his performances.
