Pure claimed a loss of motivation to play Dota 2

According to Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko, Dota 2 hasn’t had any interesting updates in a very long time which is why the cyberathlete lost motivation to play ranked matches.

This comment about playing matchmaking carry Tundra Esports was made during a private twitch stream where he answers a subscriber's question on why the cyber athlete's rating has fallen.

"I guess I'm just playing bad. I don't know, but it’s not going matchmaking. The games are super random, chelya do not release a patch, so it’s just sad to play. I don’t want to play dota at all because of the patch. Valve doesn't update MM or anything. Matchmaking is just deadest it's ever been in Dota."

Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko’s progress at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 Dota 2 tournament was noticed by many fans and analysts, despite the drop in MMR points . Tundra Esports took third place at the championship. The team managed to reach the final of the top playoff grid, but lost slots in grand finals against Team Falcons and BetBoom Team later on.

After Tundra Esports lost in lower grid finals Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf spiked Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko in game chat suggesting that Tundra Esports' carry should leave soon.
