Puppey revealed the real reason for Nisha's departure from Team Secret

Team captain of Team Secret, Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, said that Michał ‘Nisha’ Jankowski burned out and wanted to keep playing with Ludwig “Zai” Wahlberg in another team.

This was announced by the Dota 2 legend during an interview that aired on Twitch.

“He wished to quit Secret after the International 2021 won by Team Spirit. MATUMBAMAN also didn’t like the idea of playing. The team was a bit weird. Nisha himself thought about maybe quitting because of this”

According to him, the state of uncertainty in which the team found itself after The International 2021 influenced Nisha’s decision to leave. Also, Puppey has revelation that after winning The International 2021, Nisha even considered taking a break from Dota 2 but his family convinced him otherwise. However, what ultimately came between him and Team Liquid was his desire to play alongside zai thus making Nisha join Team Liquid.

“He told me he wants to play with zai.” He thought there’d be a period when he would not be playing for some time like six months or even twelve months. Then Nisha said like “Okay I'll go on Liquid and will play with zai”

Nonetheless, Puppey confirmed that he had no intentions of holding back Nisha; thus allowing him move forward within his profession.
