Puppey named the culprits of Team Secret's failure at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023

Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, captain of Team Secret, hinted that the sudden release of patch 7.35 before the match against Team Liquid might have been one of the reasons for his team's elimination from ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.

He commented on Team Secret defeat in a post-match interview published on YouTube.

"Yeah, probably just unlucky. What can you do? Right now, I have no thoughts on why we lost. Again, the patch is too big to even assume what went wrong. We ****ed up, played bad, and then we lost"

The Dota 2 legend also admitted that his team played poorly, leading to the defeat, but he can't pinpoint the exact reasons due to the global nature of Valve's patch, which was released just hours before the match against Team Liquid.

Earlier, Team Secret posted a harsh reaction to Chen "MidOne" Yeik Nai's crushing defeat against Gaimin Gladiators mid laner Quinn "Quinn" Callahan.
