Klement “Puppey” Ivanov said he made a mistake when he started writing harsh statements in the matchmaking chat. He explained his actions as a breakdown due to the toxic behavior of other players.
The esports player wrote this comment in X.
“Guys, my bad, I'm not suppose to say this type of shit cause I don't really mean it. Pubs suck sometimes, but sometimes they suck many many days in a row. Sometimes people in pubs infuriate me because of their horrible behaviors and if it happens a bit excessively, I break.”
According to Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, the match during which the scandalous incident took place was quite a long time ago, which is why the player does not remember the details. Nevertheless, the esports player admitted that he went too far with his statements in the chat and deserves criticism, but also noted the deliberate nature of the provocations against him.
“I don't remember when this game happened cause it's not recent, but someone was purposefully pushing my buttons and I flamed him and went overboard. Still its my mistake. Don't hate me too much for it guys, I deserve some of it, I mostly just got really angry at those people.”
It is worth noting that Clement “Puppey” Ivanov distinguished himself with harsh statements directed at Eastern European players.
