Prices for Dota 2 skins have risen becaus of Valve’s decision

Valve updated the rules of Steam Market, which radically affected prices for Dota 2 skins and other items on the market.

On Reddit they note, that now the minimum price for the cheapest item is no less than $0.05, while before items could be listed even for $0.0001. This is also not the only innovation, users noticed that also the fee for the cheapest items changed.

If before the fee was 13%, now it is about 60% for the cheapest items. For items that cost over $0.10 the fee didnt change. Players dont understand what is happening, because now prices for some almost useless items rose several times.

On Reddit it is assumed that Valve did this to finally regulate the issue of minimum prices, especially on regional markets.
