The International 2015 champion, Peter «ppd» Dager, commented on Twitter the leaving Into The Breach organization from Dota 2 and noted the instability of the ecosystem in the game. In his opinion, the expenses of esports organizations should not be so large.

At NADCL S4 we enabled esport teams to spend only $1000 for a 7 week season of competition which featured 4 events.

Having an esports team shouldn't cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per year. The current system isn't sustainable. It's a good move to step away and reevaluate.
Ppd is organizing a series of amateur tournaments, the North American Dota 2 Challenger's League, to raise the interest and level of Dota 2 players in North America.
