Patch 7.40b OP hero for easy MMR gain in Dota 2 matchmaking

In patch 7.40b, Legion Commander has become one of the strongest offlane heroes, making it relatively easy to gain MMR in Dota 2 matchmaking by playing the hero.

At the moment, Legion Commander shows nearly a 55% win rate in the offlane across all ranks, which makes her one of the most reliable heroes for climbing the ladder. A key factor behind the hero’s effectiveness is the Stonehall Plate aspect, which strengthens Legion Commander as the match progresses.

The core build for the hero in patch 7.40b is focused on initiation, survivability, and pushing potential. Most often, Legion Commander is built around Blink Dagger and Blade Mail, followed by Black King Bar Bar to protect against crowd control. In the mid and late game, the standard item set is complemented by Assault Cuirass, Overwhelming Blink, and Aghanims Shard.

Depending on the draft and the flow of the game, one of the slots can be replaced with situational items such as Satanic, Silver Edge, Heavens Halberd, or Aghanims Scepter, making Legion Commander a flexible pick against most strategies and extremely difficult for opponents to counter.
