Prices for the Ancient Dragon King in Dota 2 have increased by 1.5 times, and now its price is around $72, thanks to changes in the skin it received in patch 7.35c.
This is evidenced by the changes on the Steam marketplace, where the graph shows a sharp spike in prices after the patch was released.
If previously the rare cosmetic item was valued at around $42, now the price has almost doubled, reaching around $72. This is explained by a series of significant changes made by Valve in the update.
The item will now work not only until the end of the year but indefinitely. Additionally, the dragon on the Throne can now be given a high five with a special visual effect. Another unique ability of the dragon activates when someone on the team performs a rampage, causing the Ancient Dragon King to emit a loud roar heard throughout the map.
Recall that Valve released patch 7.35c earlier, which changed various item characteristics, hero stats, and affected other gameplay aspects of Dota 2.
