David "Parker" Flores, the carry for
Heroic, admitted that the hardest part of a pro gamer’s life is being away from family and loved ones most of the time.
He shared this in an interview posted on the club’s YouTube channel.
"I think the hardest thing is being away from family, constantly traveling. You’re always on the road, away from family, home-cooked meals, your own space, right? You’re happier when you’re with family, sharing life’s moments together. I think the hardest part is being away from them"
He admitted that pro players have to come to terms with spending most of their time away from loved ones. Pro players are almost constantly traveling for tournaments or team bootcamps, which means they rarely get to be at home, Parker stated.
He also said that he feels happier when he's at home, surrounded by loved ones, sharing moments of joy.
