Vitaly "Arthas" Tsal, better known as Papich, did not become an eSportsman because he cannot play one hero due to bans - this became his main problem.
He talked about this during a stream on wTV.
"The main problem is that I cannot play one hero. Because this is how I became a better player - by playing one hero. And I could eventually play a bunch of different heroes. But just to really learn how to play, you need to super-nerd one hero, and you understand a lot about the game in general"
He explained that to truly understand Dota 2, you need to play one character perfectly, and this takes a long time. Papich noted that on the pro scene this is simply impossible, because the main hero can be banned at the draft stage. This is why he did not become an eSportsman, not wanting to have a wide pool of heroes and play on those characters that he does not like.
Recall that earlier Papic lost his temper in the 4th minute of the Dota 2 match and left the game.
