OverDrive Names the Player Holding Team Falcons Back

Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov believes that Team Falcons cannot improve their Counter-Strike 2 roster’s results because of Nikola “Niko” Kovac.

The analyst made this statement on Twitch.

“Niko’s microlike allows him to play in his own rough style and wipe out all teams below the top 10 without giving them a chance. Plus, he helps win games against teams from the top 10.”

According to Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov, the team’s gameplay is built around Nikola “Niko” Kovac, which allows the team to beat most opponents outside the top 10 of the pro scene, as well as occasionally defeat stronger opponents, but this approach prevents Maxim “Kyousuke” Lukin and Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov from shining, who could positively impact Team Falcons’ results.

“People who don’t understand CS don’t see this. To them, Niko is the best. But it’s hard to build anything with him. He has his strengths: he’s confident, cocky, and sees the game the way he wants to. Niko has molded m0NESY and Kyousuke to his will, and they can’t break away from him and start winning.”
