OverDrive Weighs In on PARIVISION’s New Roster

Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov believes signing Abay “HObbit” Khasenov to PARIVISION’s Counter-Strike 2 roster was a mistake.

The analyst shared this opinion on YouTube.

“To be honest, I don’t really understand the roster changes. Okay, Slaxejezzz is a gamble on a young talent who could develop well. I get that. But Hobbit... I understand what Dastan and Jame were going for. But I don’t think Hobbit will stick around here. He’s not in the meta, and his micro isn’t up to the level PARIVISION needs.

If Hobbit were really that good, he probably wouldn’t have spent three years playing for 1win with average stats and without standing out. We’ve never heard anyone say, “Oh, look how Hobbit is dominating.” 1win isn’t even Tier 3. I think it’s even lower than that.

Hobbit just can’t keep up anywhere here. Sure, he’s an experienced player, a legend, but he’s not cutting it. It’s a very strange peak.

To be honest, I’m disappointed. At the beginning of the year, when PARIVISION took off, both Belchonokk and Xielo were shooting incredibly well. Everything was flying; their gameplay was very mobile. Now PARIVISION has regressed to some kind of CS:GO with slow rounds and lousy plays.”

According to a statement by Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov, Abay “HObbit” Khasenov won’t be staying with the team for long. Moreover, the analyst doesn’t understand why PARIVISION decided to sign a player who hadn’t achieved anything significant with his previous teams. OverDrive is convinced that the recent roster changes have negatively impacted the team’s gameplay.

As a reminder, Dastan “Dastan” Akbaev previously commented on PARIVISION’s victory against Faze in the XSE Pro League.
