LGD Gaming has declined to participate in the Elite League and will miss the upcoming Dota 2 tournament. The replacement for them as a participant has not been announced yet.
A statement to this effect was published on the club's official page on Weibo.
As stated in the report, the club is expecting a reshuffle due to poor performance. During this process
LGD Gaming will not participate in competitions.
Given that the team received a direct invitation to the competition, the organizers will need to decide who will take the slot instead of
LGD Gaming. As of now, there is no official information on this matter.
LGD Gaming's roster:
Guo "shiro" Xuanang;
Gao "Setsu" Zhenxiong;
Li "niu" Kongbo;
Xiong "Pyw" Jiahan;
Zhang "y`" Yiping.
It's worth noting that
LGD Gaming was previously involved in a scandal due to statements made by player Yan "Chalice" Shenyi. He claims that the organization withheld streaming revenues and failed to pay salaries not only to him but also to other players.
