Chang “Oli” Chong Kin said that his transfer to
Aurora began with contact from Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko, who asked if the player would like to join his team. Although the esports player was planning to assemble his own roster at the time, he decided to consider the offer.
The player revealed this in an interview with Taverna.
“At first, Nightfall asked me what I thought, and I was trying to assemble a stack with 23, Q, and Mikoto. But it didn't work out — there were problems. Then this roster appeared, and I thought it looked good, so I ended up here.”
Although Chan “Oli” Chong Kin expressed a positive attitude towards meeting his new teammates, he admitted that he had not yet met anyone in person except for Rafla “Mikoto” Fathur, who left a positive impression on him. It is worth noting that Mikoto joined
Aurora at the same time as Oli.
“I haven't seen anyone else yet except Mikoto. I've been playing with Mikoto for many years — he's a really cool guy. We'll get to know the rest of the team soon!”
Chang “Oli” Chong Kin had already played in two
Aurora lineups between late 2023 and early 2025, after which the esports player was a member of the Yakult Brothers and
Talon Esports rosters.
As a reminder, Damien “Kpii” Chok suddenly became
Aurora's new coach after the player left
Team Liquid.
