Allen "Bonkers" Cook believes that despite the team's good results at the Elite League Season 2 tournament, the roster sometimes lacks the voice of captain Sebastian "Ceb" Debs.
The
OG coach shared his respective opinion in an interview on the official YouTube broadcast of the tournament.
"We ended the first day with a 4-0 score on the cards. I think we got off to a pretty good start. I would say the progress is coming from our communication.
Kaori is spending more time with the team. He's progressing, getting used to the lineup, and the games are starting to come easier to him. We are playing this tournament without Seb, so sometimes the team lacks the voice that the players need.
Our progress over the course of the tournament is probably marginal. We have already set the bar high from day one. The atmosphere has improved. We're trying to take away the seriousness and just enjoy the tournament.
It's no harder to do than you think. The default mindset is seriousness. We're trying to get rid of that and enjoy the event."
Sebastian "Ceb" Debs said he will skip Elite League Season 2 because he wants to spend time with his family after the birth of his child and take a break from his losing streak. At the tournament, his position as a stand-in was taken by Oleg "Kaori" Medvedok, who previously played for
PSG Quest. Most likely, in the future Sebastian "Ceb" Debs will return to the team.
In mid-June, Sebastian "Ceb" Debs became a father, and his
OG teammates congratulated him.
