Yaroslav «NS» Kuznetsov stated that he never even considered becoming a coach, because it would still require spending a huge amount of time on Dota 2.
The streamer and former pro-player shared this during a Twitch stream.
"No, thanks. Recently some famous player, who also just finished his career, said: 'If I wanted to spend a lot of time on Dota, I would just keep playing it.' There is no difference in terms of time spent. Even if you don’t play that much, you are still part of the training process with the team. That’s why I never wanted to be a coach. Even when I was ending my player career, I didn’t think about it"
NS emphasized that he left the pro scene because he didn’t want to spend so much time on Dota 2, which also became the reason he refused to become a coach. The streamer explained that in terms of time investment, there is no difference between playing professionally or coaching a team.
According to him, he’s not the only one who thinks this way, as coaching requires reviewing moments, analyzing replays, and participating in team practices.
