NS tells why Valve needs to completely remove pauses from Dota 2

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov believes that in Dota 2 there should not be an opportunity to pause a match, as there are no phases in this game that can be separated by a break.

“How can we introduce tactical pauses in Dota? How should it work? In Dota, it would be great to remove pauses in principle. When to press a tactical pause? Which pause would be considered tactical and which would be considered non-tactical? If no one has hit anyone for more than ten seconds on the map? In Dota there are no rounds, no specific segments between which a pause fits organically. There's a whole game going on in Dota.”

Streamer believes that Valve should completely remove pauses from Dota 2, leaving the ability to stop the match only for the match administrator if he has suspicions about what is happening on the map. Nevertheless, Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov is convinced that players should not be able to pause the match, and the technical problems should be solved in the course of the match, because, according to the content-maker's statement, it is the player's problem only.

Earlier, Alexander “Nix” Levin urged Valve to add changes to the meta that would motivate players to get into fights more often, so that Dota 2 matches would no longer be boring.
