NS stated that Papich never knew how to play Dota 2

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov had somewhat critical pronouncements about streamer Papich claiming he never participated in any type of Dota 2 professional activity, claiming all he did was to play pub games.

NS aired this during one of his Twitch streams.

“Take Papich for instance, he of course lacks proper Dota skills, never competed in a professional arena. What did he know really? This extends to all those who have never played even on a national stage. It doesn't matter what they did in pubs”

However, NS seems to be amazed or concerned at how people praise non professional achievements in the game since he feels they have no merit. In his opinion, the only significant matches are those against those who have the intent and capacity to win such as esports players. To NS, matchmaking systems are weakling weapons.

There’s been no response to NS’s comments regarding Papich by the former professional esports player.

The NS comment that is chilling is the predication that the Dota 2 professional scene would cease to exist as per his opinion in 2026 with tournaments going the same way.
