NS stated about a serious problem in the pro scene of Dota 2

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov believes that in Dota 2 now there is a strong drop in the influx of young players, because of which young cybersportsmen in this area is becoming less and less. The cybersportsman confirms his opinion with the example of the formation of the latest Team Falcons lineup.
The content maker made a comment about the declining popularity of Dota 2 during a personal Twitch broadcast.
"Some schoolboys still play Dota 2, but the trend for it has passed. It's not as trendy. There aren't as many new schoolies in Dota. I think we will soon see very few new players. We have crossed a certain rubicon. Already some players are lingering on the scene. We're already getting some sort of age Dota.
There are players like this popping up in the top right now. Cr1t, for example. Is he a hardcore player? Yeah, he's a badass. He has a masterpiece of a career, but he's been playing Dota for a long time. That's why when
Team Falcons were picking their roster, they didn't find some relatively new, young and juicy guy, they took Cr1t. Very often some old guys fall out of nowhere because there is no one new. And they're not there because Dota has a very low influx of young blood at the world level right now."
There have been a lot of MOBA games coming out lately for any platform, some of which are successfully competing with Dota 2. Many novice players are switching to other games, noting more frequent gameplay updates and better support with similar mechanics. Recently, there has been a strong growth in the popularity of online strategy game League of Legends, which often seems to be a more attractive alternative for a younger audience.
Recall that earlier Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov accused the commentators of the official PGL Wallachia broadcast of unprofessionalism.
