NS shocked with information about the salaries of Virtus.pro players

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, a streamer and former esports player, stated that the players of Virtus.pro golden roster were earning a salary of $25,000. According to him, this was the highest payment among Western teams at that time.

NS shared this information during a broadcast on Twitch.

"The golden roster at its peak was getting paid $20-25 thousand. They had the highest salary in Dota 2. At least among non-Chinese teams"

The streamer also clarified that the current players' level is likely much lower compared to the 2017-2018 roster. However, he mentioned that he doesn't know the current players' salaries but estimates that it's nearly five times less.

"I think it's up to five thousand dollars. Unlikely to be more, as if they don't deserve it. But I don't know, maybe it's higher"
