NS said that several clubs will shut down their Dota 2 rosters

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov said that Heroic are not the last who left Dota 2 pro scene and by the end of the year few more organizations will leave this esport discipline.

He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

"Heroic dropped their Dota roster, even tho it was obviously pretty successful. They say financially they couldnt handle it, salaries are high, and its not easy to pay back those investments. I think by the end of the year some more orgs will say goodbye to their teams"

He predicts that several clubs will close their Dota 2 rosters. The reason is probably financial side. Thats exactly why Heroic disbanded their roster. Because of high salaries its very hard to maintain the team.

Organizations struggle to make money back, so profitability of keeping a roster became a very serious issue for many clubs.
