Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov stated that when he was playing at DTS Gaming, the streamer had to combine his career as a cyber athlete with his job of connecting the internet.
The content maker made the corresponding statement in a personal Twitch broadcast.
“It's good old-fashioned eSports. When you're studying or working at the same time as practicing. When we played DTS in 2010, I was working at the same time. I was pulling internet in my neighborhood.”
Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov played DTS Gaming back in the days of the first Dota. The streamer added that, thanks to his shortened workday, he would get home by four o'clock, after which training would begin.
“There was a part time job. I'd get home at 3 or 4 o'clock. And at 5-6 we would start practicing. Then you woke up, went to work, came home and played. That was back in the first Dota.”
Streamer didn't reveal exactly how much he earned from DTS Gaming, but considering that the total amount of prize money won by the team is estimated to be around $15,000, this income was insignificant against the earnings of modern pro players.
DTS Gaming has repeatedly played in dash-1 tournaments, but the best result that the team was able to show was the second place at the Electronic Sports World Cup 2010.
Recall that earlier Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov accused the developers of delaying the new patch after the completion of The International 2024.
