Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov positively assessed the Spring update of Dota 2, noting a positive trend in Valve's actions. He especially liked the features of the Labs, where players can use new interface customization options.
The streamer and former professional esports player shared his opinion in his Telegram channel.
"Some strange patch came out there with a laboratory and experimental game settings. Recently, by the way, we discussed this topic partially, that the interface settings in the game are horribly **** and outdated, and it would be nice to have the ability to more delicately adjust them"
NS also noted that Valve is likely to be tracking community feedback and trying to steer the game's development in a direction that players want.
"So somewhere in this direction, Valve really went (LISTENING). For example, there is an opportunity to make a semi-transparent map on the entire screen (like in Diablo, for example), well, and some other things you can do there. Positive movement. I hope they didn't accidentally break the whole game"
While many players expected the release of a global Crownfall patch, Valve surprised the community with the Spring update for Dota 2, which introduced a new treasure, sets, and experimental features called Dota 2 Las.
