Valve has released a new update for Dota 2, introducing an experimental feature called Dota Lab, in addition to a new treasure.
This information was shared on the official Dota 2 website.
Developers note that this is currently a tested feature, and Valve wants to hear from players themselves whether such changes should be fully integrated into the game. Therefore, users can decide independently whether to use the experimental features, which are currently disabled by default.
"Opening the settings menu, you will see a new tab - "Laboratories." The features in it are experimental and not as well-developed as those we usually release, so they are in a separate menu and are turned off by default. Testing them, we received mixed or ambiguous results, so it is difficult for us to say how good they are or how to improve them. But real players will be able to tell us whether to continue developing these features - that's why we release them in the early stage"
The following features are available in the Dota 2 Lab:
Key action filtering keys that, when pressed, allow you to select only an enemy/ally/creep/hero as a target.

Transparent mini-map in the center of the screen, triggered by holding down a key.
More noticeable health bars.
It is currently difficult to say how useful these changes will be in terms of gameplay and convenience, as the community needs time to test them. Nevertheless, the new settings will help make the game more interesting, which will also indirectly affect matchmaking results.
