NS evaluated patch 7.39e, highlighting two main innovations

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov gave a positive assessment of patch 7.39e and believes that Dota 2 will now be interesting to play again thanks to the nerf of Helm Of The Dominator and Ghost Scepter, as well as the addition of Kez to Captains Mode.

He announced this on his Telegram channel.

"The patch is out, so you can even play Dota now. It's not very big, I haven't really read it yet, but the fixes to Helm of the Dominator and Ghost Scepter, i.e. the cancerous items from the last TI, immediately catch the eye. It's interesting that you can see how Valve is a little slow on the uptake, so they made some clumsy fixes. Helm of the Dominator was fixed according to the principle that we suggested many times while watching TI, adding mana cost and making it impossible to recast while creeps are being hit, and Ghost Scepter simply removed the ability to press it in BKB, as it was before"

NS emphasized that Valve finally fixed Helm Of The Dominator and Ghost Scepter, as suggested by the community during The International 2025. In addition, he joked that almost a year has passed and Kez has finally been added to CM.

“And Kez was added to Captain's Mode, less than a year has passed (or has it?), in any case, Kez nerds on tour can now show their class. Today, the qualifiers for PGL are underway, let's watch them a little today on the new patch”

According to him, tournament matches will now also become more interesting, because Kez will be available at tournaments for the first time, which means new tactics and strategies.
