Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov claims
Team Spirit decision to replace Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov with Alexander “Rue” Filin did not budge the team’s performance metrics, as Mira did not have much importance on the overall roster. He added that Milo did not have a lot of star power with him, so Spirit’s decision to replace him with a random player was quite irrelevant.
He made this claim while streaming on Twitch.
“Mira is not such an irreplaceable and star player. Spirit replaced him with some random player from a tier-2 team, but what changed? Nothing changed“
NS also pointed out that Mira may be a two-time Dota 2 world champion, but he is not a prominent name in the pro scene. He argued that
Team Spirit is known to replace proficient players with others that are below par, as they have done with Mira, and it still does not change the outcome for the team.
It’s likely that’s where the decision to not bring Mira back to
Team Spirit, and transfer him to
Aurora stemmed from. Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov also touched on this when giving insights about roster moves.
