NS criticized Valve's unexpected decision

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov, a streamer and former esports player, is surprised that Valve nerfed Crystal Maiden ultimate in the latest gameplay update despite it not being seen as strong.

He criticized these changes during a Twitch stream.

“Crystal Maiden does not get 20 armor from her ultimate anymore. I don’t get why they did this. That was quite a nice feature. If you applied the ult to Crystal Maiden, she became a mausa tank. It's not like spamming her ult was that easy or anything. Why did they remove it? Her ult had never been easy to land too many times unlike what people may assume! May be in turbo mode people can **** with their ults but you know how crazy turbo is”

He explained that this time around the hero has been severely weakened because even without all those changes, making effective use of this skill as Crystal Maiden was quite difficult already. He claims that it worked only once per some games and added good armor protection, but now they have deleted it, and he does not know why.
