NS called Yatoro, a fan favorite and Dota 2 legend, a bad carry who does nothing

Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, a streamer and former esports player, described Wang "Ame" Chunyu, the captain of Xtreme Gaming, as a poor carry who doesn’t contribute much to his team in matches.

He made these comments during a Twitch stream.

"Ame is not a particularly good carry… I know Dota 2 better than all these Glor-types. He has never really done much; he just shows up in games. He’s a typical 4+1 carry who farms. The team does everything for him, and then he comes in, gets a Rampage, and everyone goes wow"

NS noted that the esports player creates the appearance of being a strong carry, but in reality, it is his team that makes the game for him. According to NS, compared to players like Anton "Dyrachyo" Shkredov and Oliver "Skiter" Lepko, Ame is significantly worse.

"In reality, he is much worse than Anton Dyrachyo or Skiter. Ame never makes the game for his team. In the current meta, he is a bad carry: he doesn’t do anything on the map, he’s not involved in anything. Either his teammates are bad, or he is just carried around. This is the Burning Style – a default old-school Chinese carry"

Despite this, Xtreme Gaming showed some of the best results at The International 2024 but still lost to Team Liquid in the playoff match and dropped to the lower bracket.
