NS announced the exact start date of Frostivus 2023

Frostivus, the holiday event in Dota 2, will begin on December 18-19, just after the conclusion of ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023.

This statement was made by Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov, a streamer and former esports player, during a Twitch broadcast.

"If you're interested in an update with some event, expect it within a week. It will be out before the 20th. I guarantee it with about 97% certainty. The remaining percentage I leave for the chance that Valve, in general, won't do "Frostivus" until December 20. But I don't believe in that"

He noted that there is a chance Valve might shift the holiday update, but it's likely not to happen before the conclusion of the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 grand finals.
