Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko said that developers from Valve are making Dota 2 an increasingly casual game. As an example, the player cited denies, the importance of which has greatly decreased. Cybersportsman believes that such a change developers borrowed from League of Legends.
The corresponding opinion pro-player shared on Twitch.
“Dota is more and more casualized. Everything used to be very important, even conditional denies were 10 times more important. One deny could win a line so much that a man couldn't stand. Apparently, they've taken it from “The League” that deny don't give anything at all now.”
Nevertheless, Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko is sure that we should not expect a mass transition of players from Dota 2 to League of Legends, as it was with Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant. The cybersportsman believes that although League of Legends was originally copied from Dota 2, the games are too different for a mass migration of players.
“Will there be the same migration of Doters to LoL as there is from CS to Valorant? No. That's not how it works with Dota and League of Legends, the games are super different. Pro-loler is very difficult, on par with Dota. LoL copied from Dota, but still the games are very different, they were changed a lot.”
Recall that earlier Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko told why Deadlock will not become a popular game.
