Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko named Lina the best hero of patch 7.39b for playing in the second position in Dota 2 matchmaking. The esports player also recommends Batrider and Death Prophet for mid laners.

" Batrider, Lina, and Death Prophet are heroes for the first pick. Lina in general — you'll never find a better hero for public games."

Despite Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko's statement, these heroes are not performing well in matchmaking among players with 7 to 8.5 thousand MMR. Lina has the lowest win rate — 45% in 725 matches. The best result in second place at the moment is Batrider with 48% wins in 455 matches. Death Prophet was able to win 47% of 465 matches.
