Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko gave a positive assessment of the release schedule for updates in Dota 2, noting that this indicates an increase in attention from Valve developers to the development of the game.
The esports player spoke on this topic on Twitch.
"Dota is updated every three months, aren't they working on it? On the contrary, they started working on Dota. That's very cool. I don't need patches every week or every two weeks. The fact that they come out every three months is really cool. That's what I've always wanted, for Dota to change at least once every three seasons. Once every 3-4 months is ideal."
According to Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko, changing the Dota 2 meta too often would not be beneficial for the game. The esports player believes that the frequency of global updates once every 3-4 months is optimal and even exceeds his previous expectations.
As a reminder, Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko previously named the top three heroes for matchmaking in the current Dota 2 meta.
