Alexander “Nix” Levin said that he plans to undergo calibration in Dota 2 and expects to get about 5,000 MMR.
The streamer announced this during a broadcast on Twitch.
"I recently had the idea to undergo rating calibration in Dota. But I have no idea how to do it on stream. Set a delay? After Sifu, I think I can give it a try. Why not? I thought: since I bought all these skins, I should at least play with them. Battle it out with guys at 6,000 MMR. I think they'll give me 5,000. Or maybe not... I don't know how the new calibration works. It'll be interesting to see"
Nix noted that he hasn't played in a long time, so he doesn't know how the calibration system works now. Nevertheless, he expects to get around 5,000 MMR.
The streamer's exact rating is unknown, but he mentioned that he plans to play against opponents with a rating of 6,000 MMR. At the same time, Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov previously stated that Nix has a rating of around 8,500, but based on his level of play, he shows even more.
Considering this, Nix could theoretically get between 13,500 and 14,000 MMR if he successfully passes the calibration, which would put him on par with the leading professional players.
