Alexander "Nix" Levin, a famous streamer, expressed his dissatisfaction about Valve’s update on Dota 2, patch 7.38, claiming that it was poorly done. He seems really upset not only about the delay with the update but also about the bizarre names and its addiction.
This was stated during his live Twitch stream.
"I’m positive this patch was created by ChatGPT. Either that or the developer was on mushrooms. Like, not ‘hydrogen’ but ‘vodorit’. Not ’emeralds’ but ‘bezemruds’. And the developer goes, ‘Got it right? I’m just threatening here to release the best patch on planet Earth’"
Nix has an inclination that the developers actually did use neural networks to make global Dota 2 update. Moreover, the streamer seemed extremely annoyed with the way the names and the announcement of the patch was poorly crafted which has clearly shown in his statement.
“Yeah, you can definitely tell that the developers have changed. Some weirdo is sitting there now and maybe he did something cool, but it definitely smells like neural networks. Like, I’m **** everything up, but I’ll change one letter and it seems like it’s not **** anymore”
The streamer emphasized that the developers of the game have changed, which is indicated by a number of things. Nix is of the opinion that the overall trend of the update is negative, but is yet to assess its content because the amount of changes is just massive. At the same time, he unreservedly condemned Valve for the delay of the update, claiming that they are two years late.
It’s worth noting that Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov also had something to say about new patch 7.38 Dota 2 and as in many other cases he pointed to a telling moment.
