Nix spoke about the main mistake of Dendi on the Dota 2 pro scene

Alexander “Nix” Levin stated that Danil “Dendi” Ishutin made a mistake when he did not leave at the peak of his career, because he started to decline heavily on the Dota 2 pro scene.

He said this during a stream on Twitch.

“Dendi started to fall off hard after 2014. For most players of my age he was a legend, someone everyone looked up to and followed. At some point he stopped developing and began to degrade very seriously in the game and in his behavior in matchmaking. In my understanding Dendi should have left at his peak and become a legend”

Nix noted that the famous player missed the chance to become a true legend, because he did not retire from the Dota 2 pro scene at the right time. According to him, after 2014 Dendi began to lose his level, and no longer performed at the standard his fans around the world were used to.

It is worth mentioning that Dendi’s last tournament was the open qualifiers for The International 2024, where he played for B8. After losing in the qualifiers, his club left the Dota 2 pro scene, and the legendary midlaner has not competed since, which many fans found really sad.
