Nix shared his impressions of Deadlock, assessing the game's prospects

Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that Deadlock will not repeat the fate of Artifact. The streamer believes that the game will be a success because he believes in its creator - game designer Abdul “IceFrog” Ishmael, who is also involved in the development of Dota 2.
The content maker shared his respective opinion in a review of the new game on his personal Twitch channel.
“Will Deadlock repeat the fate of Artifact? No, 100%. Icefrog did it, and he's a genius.”
It's worth noting that the card game Artifact was released by Valve in 2018 based on the Dota 2 universe. However, the game was coolly received by the audience.
Responding to one viewer's skepticism about the massiveness of Deadlock's future audience, the streamer noted that given the invite-only play option, the test version has already garnered a record number of players.
“Well, for the test version, there's a record online here. Considering the game is by invites.”
Streamer also adds that the game is lighter than Dota 2, which will make it easier for players to get used to.
“I'm sure this game is easier than Dota. Its entry threshold is lower.”
Recall that earlier Team Spirit analyst Denis “sikle” Lerman shared a detailed characterization table of Deadlock's heroes.
